2022 3rd International Youth Conference on Lignin- and Collagen-based Materials (3rd IYCLCM-2022, https://iyclcm2022.scievent.com/) will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province on November 4-6, 2022, China. The conference is jointly sponsored by Sichuan University, Dalian Polytechnic University and Qilu University of Technology. Outstanding young scholars at home and abroad will gather to exhibit the latest achievements in research and industrialization in fields of collagen-based advanced functional materials, advanced leather manufacture, lignin-based materials and chemicals, lignocellulose-based functional materials and collagen-plant biomass composite materials, and deeply discuss the opportunities, challenges and future directions in these fields. The conference communication forms include plenary lecture, session invited lecture, session keynote presentation, poster presentation, conference proceeding, etc.
Researchers from universities, institutions and high-tech enterprises in related fields are sincerely invited to participate in 3rd IYCLCM-2022 to fully discuss the discipline frontiers and promote the in-depth integration of research and production.
The conference will cooperate with Journal of Leather Science and Engineering (the journal name will change to Collagen and Leather from the start of 2023) (https://jlse.springeropen.com), an important academic journal in the field of collagen and leather, to launch the special issue of “Collagen-based Advanced Functional Materials”. And it will also cooperate with Industrial Crops and Products (https://www.journals.elsevier.com/industrial-crops-and-products, IF 6.367), a famous journal on lignocellulosic biomass, to launch the special issue of “Lignocellulosic Biomass-derived Functional Materials”. All submissions should be recommended by the guest editors before being subjected to peer review as regularly. The guest editors of the special issue of “Collagen-based Advanced Functional Materials” are Zhiyong Qian, Xuechuan Wang and Hongshun Yang, and those of “Lignocellulosic Biomass-derived Functional Materials” are Runcang Sun, Jalel Labidi and Chunlin Xu.
